I think I got the flu

I can barely
Stand on my feet
It’s almost like
I’m gonna fall on my back
Hit my head and bleed
With black blood.
But I stay firm
I stand and I walk
Thinking how strong this silly riot
Against my own body is.
The state when you’re almost sleeping
But not
Is a briliiant one:
Everyone around you
Starts speaking some foreign language
And you know you’re the topic;
Trying to listen,
You look them people in the eye
Yet, there is no way to tell
If they are looking back,
Maybe their eyes are closed
And it’s just you trying to look
For something sad in
Happy smiles.
