Lady May, Lady May,
You look brilliant today.
Let me be by your side
Till the end, let's say, of time.
You fell to me right out of dream,
Like cover girl of magazine
And made my life so complete
From the head to my own feet.
I'll rename my house after you
To the palace of Hollywood,
Tie the dragon at the door -
He will serve you as a dog.
I'll bring you sun and dozen stars.
Actually, I'll paint'em on the glass.
Everything I'll do - I'll do for you,
Until I get tired of this tune.
And when this moment will come true,
I'll sing first verse in other mood.
Lady May, Lady May,
You've gone finally today.
What will I, will I do?
Maybe I'll seek for Lady June.
Lady May, Lady May,
You've gone finally today.
What will I, will I do?
Maybe I'll seek for Lady June. Šitas kietas, bet ir visas kūrinukas su trupučiu humoro, tai jaučiu. O ta vieta apie "dragon" asociuojasi su tokio Sisqo albumo pavadinimu "Unleash the dragon". :)
Visą perskaičiau porą kartų (1 anksčiau, 1 dabar). Iš pradžių kiek užkliuvo pora vietų, kurios priminė tarkim Bryan Adamsą (nors aišku, gal tai tik sutapimas) ir nelabai patiko "covet girl" :-) Tiesiog tos cover girl visos tokios vienodos, o čia rimtai užsimota, poetiškai. Gal tik tiek.
O visa kita - puiku. Idėja, skambesys, lengvas patosas ir truputis humoro. Nuginklavo: "Maybe I'll seek for Lady June". Birželiui turiu asmeninių sentimentų :-)
