Rocks and pebbles

I strolled the sand by blooming bay
where I saw a line of rocks and pebbles in the distance
then suddenly my mind jumped back to previous day:

As I walked the same path
and gazed into the distance
There was a group of people- celebrating their existence
//I halted for a brief moment
Looked back to where I came from
and then gazed at the same people.
Still unsure of the situation I made my way home... //

Now I stand at the same spot
and after a minute
I continue my tour with my mind being obscure
and as I reach these rocks and pebbles
I could walk around them, but instead
- choose to climb through them.

/Those were not people, those were rocks,
or were they people, but not rocks? /
