A deadman sang a dazling song,
That scared all those alive.
He sang it with no shame at all,
The song that was terrific so:
„I wish to die a thousand deaths,
With pain and misery
Surrounding me like dear old friends,
I wish to die a thousand deaths“
The deadman truly felt to shame,
He screamed the song words out.
He terrified all those around
And even scared the birds.
But when the night sneaked up on him,
His shouting quickly stopped.
He whispered to himself just this,
A song with melodies of his:
„I wished to live a thousand years,
With happiness and joy,
Yet I was stopped by all my fears,
I wished to live a thousand years“
The deadman sang this tragic song,
With eyes so full of tears.
His ghostly soul just wheeped and wheeped,
The deadman sang his melody.
