Long way home (iš ciklo „Itališki užrašai“ Nr. 10)

It's a long way home
Through the tunnel under the ground
And the tunnel inside my mind,
With no beginning
And no ending
At all.

„It's all to the future“ - they say.
„Hurry back home“ - they say.

But I say:
It seems like bridges are crashing,
My road is falling apart,
Today I'm sinking in chaos,
Cause I've got more one world.

Is it right to leave ego bleeding,
To keep the sparks frozen inside,
To tell the last „bye“ to an eagle
And actually to let my soul die?

But is it good to abandon my throne,
Though it's humble and pale,
Fellowship to set to dissolve,
Few relations of life to erase.

Kilometers are passing by,
Landscape has changed to unknown.
Questions start to terrify me
And to grow, grow and grow...

I guess they're right - I'm coming home,
But my home is gonna be all the world.
