I‘m walking like a man who‘s going nowhere.
For simple reason only – I have nowhere to go.
I‘m walking straigth and far, and carry nothing–
Because there‘s nothing left for me but road.
With eyes wide open, getting stronger
I‘m going just to go – through space and time;
Unweary under midday sun of deserts,
Not sleeping in the shade of forests‘ night.
I will not stop; no time, no place.
A long way still is there for me to go.
I will not wait until my legs
Get weary and I will grow old.
I will not cry – not even then;
I miss not for the future nor the past.
I only live for present and it lives for me –
We both know only road is there to last.
