I was there to face the ages of the world
Vast granite forest of ancient sorrow
Home for those who are forever cold
Their whispers soar and my mind follows
Her presence can be felt in air
And it comforts me no longer
This is mine infinite hell to bear
The years have passed but I'm no stronger
And yet once more I still recall
She was here with me but now she's gone
And yet once more, once more I fall
To dying embers of Her hair forlorn
The sun is but a dying ember
And it is gone, for I shall slumber
