Lorn

The letter- career came to Suzy’s house. Finally he came! Finally Suzy got the letter from Asia. The long- awaited letter came to the Suzy’s hands. The shiny smile perfusted her white face. In a tremulous voice she gave thanks to the postman. Suzy was excited. She broke the cover of the envelope and sat down into her soft chair. She began reading.

“My Dear  Sun,

Our climate is very unacceptable. All through the day it rains, freezes. We work hard all the day in factories. Weekly our work places are changed, so I don’t have steady location. It is a big trouble. But that will do about headache!
My craving for you is so inconceivable! I’m thinking about you in every my step, in every my word, in every my day… Your face on your photograph jollies up all my grey life in atmosphere of Asia. You don’t imagine- I can’t be without you, my treasure! You know, sometimes, when I take to my bed at midnight I weep very quietly, that nobody hears my crying… I cry, that my life is so small and awful, that I’m so far away from my true love… I’m not happy, I’m really not happy! I have screened my real spite against my life under my nice words about happy my heart still. But these words are false, very false… But I will wait; I will do my best to attain my promised life with you, my gold…

Suzy was stricken. She never thought, that Jack’s feelings were so negative. All his letters told her the best words about joy of life. But it was just a trick of senses. Suzy got the feel of other Jack’s side. It wasn’t light and lovely… It was black like cavity of Jack’s soul, which was expressive his ineptitude to acclimatize. Suzy was sorry, angry, cold, negative and disappointed. She felt sort of removed from Jack… Why? Suzy didn’t know the answer.

Every day was grey and boring, without a point to hope something. Suzy’s nights were very anxious. She was worried about Jack. She had to see him in a whole skin.

After the month Suzy took a train and went to the east of Asia. Her heart was shaking all the journey. Every city’s reference sight brought a mind that she is near the reason of Suzy’s concern…

The green trees ran fast through the window of the train. Gray clouds swam in the see of blue sky kingdom. Nobody was wrong in the nature, where all things have own purpose. “I have never seen a person, who really knows his duty, his mission of his life. We just guess what we should do, what we should set our life for. We go always round our real success. Isn’t it strange and pointless? ” Suzy asked the rhetorical questions, but she didn’t know the answers. Maybe she thought, that these questions were answered by Jack.  Slowly pretty girl’s eyes closed… She came to the land of dreams…

The black path was ill at ease. Grey shadow ran over that past path. Suddenly someone screamed very loud. It was terrible. 

Suzy suddenly woke up. The view over the train’s window was beautiful: the salad- blow trees were in several lines of the general square, streets were especially immaculate, even the sun looked shinier here. Suzy couldn’t believe that here, where she is, is the Asia. John works here. After all John wrote about wet air, there was the freeze. Did he lye? Maybe the weather changed whole Suzy came. But how the flowers bloomed, trees came into the leaf, if here it was freezing? Suzy tried don’t think about John letters… She detrained. Suzy respired the spring fresh air. Then she was happy.



But she went along the wide street.  She was going by the way, where several fates would be changed.
