Musical Statues

You know the children
like to play this game
they run and dance erratically
and when I pause the music
they are supposed to freeze
in shapes...

Well, almost never they stay still
the liquid choreography
leaks from their exuberance
it moulds the vibrant chaos
and it speaks...

You know the grown-ups
like to play with mobile phones
when all alone in crowd
maybe its crazy but they believe
somehow that this device can fill
their space in time.

The music beeps and stops
and starts again
will it make up for the lack of dynamics in life?
mechanical  movements of hands.
If only...
I could  press the  pause like
in musical statues.
