Have you ever found yourself in a situation when you understand that you are standing on the edge of a cliff, and the only step is forward, but that’s the only step you don’t want to make? Somebody said, that you are the decider of your life and all the decisions are for you to make. But that’s far away from reality. And again, you find yourself standing on the edge of a cliff with a hard and freezing wind blowing to your back, helping you to step the one step forward. You know you have to do it, but all your soul turns your body into a rock, keeping it from moving.
One of the things that we all have to face in our everyday life is the never ending choice between „want too“ and „have too“. Choosing the first one gives us the opportunity to be happy and life for the moment. Experience everything our minds are encouraging us to. No hesitations. No regrets. Just lungs full of fresh air, blood full of adrenaline, heart full of determination. But all this, seem fully to be a lovely life package, takes away the stability plank out of under our feet.
Stability – that’s the main thing that the other choice offers you. The knowledge of the upcoming day. It’s safe. Easier. But after a while becomes like a chore, for example, washing the dishes. You know you have to wash them, because tomorrow there’s going to be new food that will be needed to be put into them. Sadly, after tomorrow is going to be the same. And after that. And after. You put yourself into a circle, and once you are in it, you don’t know how to stop it anymore. Or don’t have the courage to. Remember, when  you were a child and there was a fan blowing cold wind in front of you. How much did you want to put your finger inside and try to stop it from turning round and round? Did you have the courage to hurt yourself but put your curiosity from misery?
We all want it. But not all have the courage to step out of the safety line and see what’s going to happen next. Can you do it?
