caught up in the fall

as my lifetime fades
i see myself abandoned
in an empty place
with no words in my mouth.

here comes the night -
the last sun`s beam has gone
and still myself is waiting -
but there is nothing from above.

once you`ve said the universe
is madly huge and wide,
but how come that be
as it`s only in my mind.

thus i can not find you -
(i even lost my thoughts)
neither in my mind,
nor in the fields of gold.
