Translator's Notes: A word about the title. Kyo stated in an interview that when he writes lyrics often times he uses a temporary title for a song until he and the band can work out something else. This time they stuck with his temporary title. "Hazy" which refers to, I would guess, not only the nature of the dream in the lyrics but the mystery at the heart of the song. More about that in the *'s.

*1 - Kyo's ever present kanji-play rears its nasty head here again. This time he has taken the word tsukiyomi,a fancy word for moon, and mixed it with the kanji for funeral/burial/death. The kanji which BTW is read by Kyo in the song and means quite simply sono or "that". Our translation relfects our interpretation of the lines. Which is "time has stopped" so morning is never coming. The darkness of the night is never ending.

*2 - Once again we visit Kyo's native Kyoto. A sensu is the folding paper fan that you see Japanese fanning themselves with in the summer.

*3 - A paper balloon is a child's toy that normally wouldn't fly into the sky, thus Kyo paints a surrealistic vision that we can only assume is a dream. Paper balloons are usually shaped like fish, fruits or animals. Made of very thin paper. Later in the song Kyo's mention of a windless day seems to recall this image.

*4 - Here is the mystery of the song. Who was killed? Who killed who? Was it the father? The mother or the daughter? Kyo says only he knows. Takko thinks the mother is dead and it's her ghost that sings the song. Who do you think did it? The answer is Unclear. (Hazy)
