The night your ferry departed without me
the harbour of an odd graffiti town
relaxed smoking its misty cigar.
I listened to the rain
drizzling behind the scenes of my life...
Breathless, deprived of vibration
my flute lay stiff in its pearl-y coffin and
raindrops sang a lullaby to her sleeping beauty,
double -tonguing my brain...
That lonesome night
time blasted into myriads of fractures,
giggling
complete this jigsaw puzzle...
.... while harbour was still smoking its misty cigar
burning holes
in my memory...
