It Pains To Leave

You stood under the great tree
All dressed in mourning
Among the children of the eve
Your sadness was just forming

You fell asleep in blooming field
This once alone... Without me...
You were temptation I could not yield
The calling for the blood of thee...

I never wished to bring harm
I just wanted to stray beside
And to hold you in my arms...
So that we could collide

I could not let you become a victim
And I never wanted block the sun
But as I stayed beside days grew dim
I never did what could not be undone...

It pains to leave you here
But my path goes on and on
Although if leads nowhere
Without you I am forlorn
